When overnight guests arrive I like to make them feel at home and want them to enjoy their holiday. I believe it’s important to prepare for your guests ahead of time.  Preparing early will make your guests feel welcome as well as alleviate the stress and frustration that can occur when you’re not prepare. Here are a few tips to help you prepare so that their time spent with you is full of great memories for you both:

Also, adding a simple, pretty flower arrangement will make them feel welcome.

 

Provide Plenty of Thick, White Towels:  Even if you don’t agree with the above statement, splurging on thick, 100% cotton white towels adds a bit of spa luxury for your guests; are bleachable, and, “send a message of cleanliness, refinement, and order.”

Add a Scented Candle: Scented candles add warmth and a luxury feel. I always light a scented candle in the bathroom for guests even if they are not spending the night.
